I go to Texas A&M and I don’t want to be up at the school all summer so how would you compare online classes to the traditional summer school classes on a scale of 1-10…1 being really easy and 10 being extremely hard….also it is most likely going to be Fundamentals of Chem 1 and Fundamentals of Chem 2

I go to a community college in Texas and have been paying for it out of pocket and with college funds up to this point. I am about to finish up with my associates degree and transfer to a local university and am going to have to take out a student loan to pay for it. My parents allowed me to live at home while at the community college but after I finish I need to get my own place. I worked out a deal with my parents to finish a unfinished garage type apartment on my parents property. It will cost around $20,000 to complete. It will raise my parents property value and it will allow me to have a place to stay with no rent or utility bills.
My question is what does the loan officer look at when approving the loan? I have a 3.76 GPA and very little on my credit report (nothing open now, paid off a vehicle loan about 2 years ago). Would I be able to get a loan for the $20,000 and in spring 2011 get a loan for school?
I know I have to fill out the FAFSA application but I wanted to get some information about any way I can better my chances to get my desired loan. Any advise will be much appreciated. Thanks
Also, I have a part-time job and I bring home from $640 to $970 a month. And my parents recently lost their morgage protection business due to the economy and after all the losses they only brought home $32,000 last year. Their projected to bring home about $55,000 this year. If the loan officer looks at my parents income last year will that benifit my cause?
Also, if I apply for a student loan now (May 2010) when will I be able to recieve it? Would I have to wait until next sememster or next year? I would like to get started on the renivations of the garrage apartment this summer to have it done by next semester.
not just that, that does not make sense to me that you can only get up to $7,500 a year. If that was the case you can only get $30,000 in student loans for a 4 year degree? Ive heard of people having over $100,000 student loans. How could someone afford to go to school on $7,500 per year. After paying for school, rent, living expences and a vehicle. There has to be a way to get more than that. Ive heard of people getting a student loan to pay for a car that costs more than $7,500.

We have a FHA loan and been paying my mortgage on time for 7 years until our budget are tight and I wanted to save some money and not paying the principle of the balance, but only the interest and escrow? Will that be OK?
Bankruptcy vs simply not paying?

Brief background: Moved from one state to another for a job, which was lost. Income has dropped to about 50% of what it was. We’ve gone through our savings to try and pay things. Bring home pay now covers ONLY new house payment, utilities, groceries, life insurance, and government student loan. Have previously surrendered 2nd vehicle, (1st vehicle is paid in full). Old house in old state foreclosed on and being sold tomorrow. Credit cards remaining unpaid and sent for collections, etc.
My question is this: should bankruptcy proceedings begin or should we continue as is? What, if anything, can our creditors do to us (other than trash our credit – which has already happened). We live in Texas. I would appreciate any suggestions. However please refrain from replies such as “get a job”, because we are both working full time jobs and have cut ALL unnecessary spending. We dread the thought of bankruptcy, but see no other alternative.
We’ve done the credit counseling, etc., and the funds are simply not there.
Can they garnish wages for debt in Texas?

This video is the 5th in a series of videos which show a progression of an FPGA based Wireless Data Acquisition System. Actually, this video was done after the RAM to VGA portion of the project was completed. I decided to put this video up in order to show a more clear bit sequence progression. The input signal was a slowly varying sawtooth wave sourced by a function generator. Clearly, the LEDs do not skip around as they did with the potentiometer. Manual potentiometers are not well suited for such applications. A manual potentiometer. This is best explained in the presentation slides and report on the project site: www.ece.utk.edu .
